Electric fault forces Det Norske to cut production from Alvheim FPSO Norway-based Det Norske has reduced production from the Alvheim FPSO due to an electric fault that occurred in the high voltage drive motor for a gas export compressor. The company plans to cut average production for 2015 from about 62 000 barrels of oil equivalents per day to about 59 000 - 60 000 barrels of oil equivalents per day.
