Michael McEvilly is the Project Director for the West White
Rose Project for Husky Energy. This
23,000 MT Topsides will be installed offshore Newfoundland in Q3 of 2021. Prior
to joining Husky Energy, McEvilly served as Project Director for the Ghana,
West Africa, offshore development in 8,000’ w.d. and the Tubular Bells offshore
development in 4,300’ w.d in the Gulf of Mexico for Hess Corporation. He served as Senior Executive Vice President
of Operations for Spitzer Industries, Inc. and Vice-President of Capital
Projects for Helix Energy Solutions. He
worked at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation for nearly 22 years in a variety of
positions including: General Manager-
Gulf of Mexico, Facilities and Construction Manager- Deepwater Worldwide,
Senior Staff Engineer and Senior Engineer. This includes the Marco Polo Tension
Leg Platform in 4,300’ w.d. and Independence Hub in 8,000’ w.d. He began his
career at Cities Services Oil & Gas Corporation and has 37 years of
experience in the Offshore, Onshore and International Oil and Gas fields.
