Lelio Souza is the Chief Executive Officer of Intelie, a RigNet Company. As Intelie’s CEO, Lelio leads a team of award-winning, early pioneers in deep machine learning and planning optimization. The team has developed an operational intelligence platform that empowers clients to make timely, data-driven decisions in real-time operations, including drilling, and in longer-term, data-intensive projects, such as well planning. Lelio has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in the energy and technology sectors. Before joining Intelie, Lelio was a corporate director at TOTVS, a leading ERP software and B2B solutions provider in South America, and he had also been part of the Brazil Energy Practice at Accenture as a senior manager, participating in several consultancy projects in the resource industry, highlighting the Petrobras Downstream Business Unit. Lelio holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. He has had executive training in Brazil at the Fundação Getulio Vargas and in the United States at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
