Guilherme is SBM Brazil Technology Manager. A former Siemens engineering project manager, he has been with SBM Offshore for almost seven years, four of which as Engineering Department Manager responsible for the growth of SBM engineering capacity and capability in Brazil. During this period, Guilherme also took the strategic leadership of SBM Brazil Technical Community with the objective of seizing synergy opportunities between both project and operations teams to turn them into tangible improvements in SBM ways of working. In 2017, Guilherme extended his responsibilities in a combined role of Engineering and Technology Manager. In this position, Guilherme successfully set up the 1st technology development partnership of SBM in Brazil with Shell and University Of São Paulo under ANP levy requirements. Since March 2018, Guilherme has been appointed SBM Brazil Technology Manager with focus on open innovation, digitalization and inspection & maintenance technologies.
