Henrique Gaio has 15 years of experience in the industry, including ​​activities in Pulp & Paper, Petrochemical and Oil & Gas sectors. During the last 10 years period, Henrique accumulated experience developing Process Safety and HSSE teams, constantly implementing new practices as this field of knowledge evolved. Henrique joined SBM Offshore in 2017 as HSSE Manager, with a major challenge of developing and reinforcing Process Safety Culture within the company.

He is a Brazilian Citizen, 38 years old, married with one child, bachelor in Chemical Engineering (UFPR) and Safety Engineering (UFPR).  Henrique has also a postgraduate degree in Loss Prevention in the Process Industry (USP).
