Joel is head of the Brazil Credit Financing Group, responsible for structuring fixed income solutions for Brazilian clients. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2018 as a vice president and head of the Brazil Debt Capital Markets practice and was named managing director in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Joel spent 13 years working in various global banks in New York and Sao Paulo, where he was focused on capital market products and advised clients and infrastructure projects on their financing needs. Joel earned a BA in Business from Insper in Brazil. He earned a series of executive education diplomas from Harvard University, Stanford University,MIT and Columbia University
