Superintendent of Development and Production Pré-Sal Petróleo S.A. – PPSA

Luiz Guilherme graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and specialized in Equipment Engineering in Petrobras and has an MBA in asset management from FGV. He worked in Petrobras Exploration and Production (E&P) area from January 1980 to May 2012, in several professional and managerial positions in the areas of oil Platform maintenance & operation, central mechanical maintenance workshop and turbo-machines, and as OIM of Flotel Safe Jasminia, all in the Campos Basin. As the asset manager of Barracuda and Caratinga, he was responsible for the FPSOs P-43 and P-48 that went into operation in 2005, responsible for 300,000 bpd of production. In the Petrobras’ International Area, he worked as Cascade and Chinook Operations Manager in the United States, in the implementation of the first deepwater FPSO in the Gulf of Mexico. Subsequently, he works as Executive Operations Manager of OSX Serviços Ltda, responsible for the operation and maintenance of FPSOs OSX 1,2 and 3. He currently manages the specialists team in the areas of Wells, Subsea System and Production Units, analyzing and approving goods and services operator’s procurement processes, oil cost recovery, work programs and budget and authorization (AFEs) in Production Sharing Agreements, seeking for the best cost-benefit solutions within Technical Committees.
