Luiz Guilherme Santos has over 35 years of experience in offshore Oil & Gas Industry.  He is experienced in production operations and maintenance in Deepwater Brazilian oil & gas fields. Currently, he is working as the Production Development Superintendent at Pré-Sal Petróleo S.A.- PPSA, responsible for activities related to FPSOs, Wells and Subsea issues in the production sharing agreements at the pre-salt polygon, Brazil. Luiz worked during 32 years at Petrobras in different key roles: Offshore maintenance Engineer as Barracuda and Caratinga Asset Manager and as a team manager responsible for the implementation of the first FPSO Project in US GoM (Cascade & Chinook) in Houston. From 2012 to 2014, he was responsible for FPSO’s Operation & Maintenance working as Operations Executive Manager for OSX Serviços Ltda. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering at UFRJ, got an Asset Management MBA at FGV, is fluent in Portuguese and English and currently lives in Rio de Janeiro.
