Mauro Andrade joined Equinor in Brazil in early 2009 as Commercial Manager responsible for the economic evaluation of E&P projects in Brazil. Had various Brazil management team positions in Equinor Brazil as VP of Public and Regulatory Affairs and VP of Supply Chain for South America. Since August 2018 he is the VP of Supply Chain for the International area at Equinor. Andrade has 21 years of experience in the upstream industry. Has worked for 3 years at the O&G Regulatory Agency in Brazil and for 7 years in the advisory business for O&G in Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche with clients in US, UK and Brazil. An economist by background, Andrade has a MSc. in Economics and an Executive Program in Oil and Gas, both from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro UFRJ. Since Jan. 2016, Andrade is President of E&P Executive Committee of IBP (Brazilian Petroleum Institute).
