Raghava Venkateshwara, a.k.a Raghu is currently an Operations Manager at MODEC in it's latest FPSO, Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes MV29, which commenced operation on June 2018 at Tartaruga Verde e Mestica Field. Raghu recently completed 11 years of service at Modec do Brazil, working since 2008 for a period of five years as Offshore crew in Marine discipline and since 2013 as Operations Manager of MV14 Cidade de Rio de Janeiro. In 2015 he moved to Singapore as Pre-Ops Manager of MV29 and was involved in all phases, right from safety studies, and building a robust pre-ops team which developed the complete operational infrastructure and in parallel supporting engineering, construction & commissioning activities. Such pre-ops involvement, brought all the lessons learnt from the operational fleet and could render complete support and assistance to the PMT in the designing and developing the FPSO to render best of operations.

Raghu is a Master Mariner certified in 2005 from National Institute of Port management, Chennai, India. Is also a licensed Chartered ship broker from ICS UK. He has 24 years of work experience now, being 13 years at Mainline shipping scaling from Deck boy in mini barges and growing steadily till Chief mate. Moved to Oil & Gas at 2008 and all through with MODEC.
