Renata Machado, Associate Director with the Vantage Latin America team at S&P Global, is a specialist in technology for upstream oil and gas production and asset valuations. She covers Latin American asset valuations and strategies, focusing on Mexico, Argentina and Colombia. Machado has more than 15 years of experience in offshore engineering. Prior to joining S&P Global, she worked at Siemens, where she developed several engineering projects, including detailed designs for Brazilian offshore production units. Educated in Brazil, Machado holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Military Institute of Engineering, a Master of Science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and an Executive MBA in strategy and post-MBA in Valuation from COPPEAD, Rio de Janeiro.
