Operations Manager, FPSO Almirante Barroso MV32 MODECSamuel is currently the Operations Manager of FPSO Almirante Barroso MV32, responsible for the operations of the vessel during construction and operations and maintenance of the facility after first oil. Before taking over this role in 2019, Samuel worked with coordinating and managing the operations of several FPSOs in the MODEC fleet such as FPSO Cidade de Santos MV20, FPSO Cidade de Mangaratiba MV24 and FPSO Cidade de Itaguaí MV26, besides the pre-operations of FPSO Carioca MV30. With large experience in the oil and gas industry, before joining MODEC in 2013 Samuel worked at OSX Construção Naval with FPSOs/WHPs construction execution plan, budget and contract management of suppliers at the shipyard . Samuel holds a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering by USP ( Universidade de São Paulo).
