Peter Burger holds the position of Vice President Technology (CTO) being a member of the BLUEWATER Management Team. He has about 25 years of professional experience in the offshore oil and gas business and in particular Single Point Mooring Systems and FPSOs. Peter joined BLUEWATER in 1994 as an engineer climbing up the ladder to senior project and executive management positions. He left BLUEWATER for a couple of years to join HEEREMA as Senior Project Manager for the design and delivery of their Deepwater Construction Vessel AEGIR. Late 2012, Peter returned to BLUEWATER as Vice President now being responsible for Tender and Technology Development, Engineering, Subcontracts and Procurement. In this executive role he also acts as Project Sponsor and Director for a selection of innovative EPC projects. Peter has a degree in Industrial Automation and Mechanical Engineering and holds an MBA from Business School Netherlands.
