Simon is Executive Director - Natural Resources based with the European Structure Finance Office of MUFG Bank since April 2015, prior to which he was with the Asian Investment Banking Division in Singapore.  Simon has 30 years international banking experience gained with investment and commercial banks in London and Singapore. Simon started his career financing shipping and offshore assets in the UK North Sea and Europe utilising a range of leasing and mixed recourse methodologies.  He has since held leading positions in Structured Finance teams, acting as an advisor to clients throughout Asia and Europe as well as an arranger and principle. Simon has specialised in the structuring of multi-party, multi-jurisdiction project oil & gas finance transactions involving loan, bond and derivative structures for both private placement and public market issuance.
