Mamdouh Tantawy is an Operations Director (Zafco field) at Gemsa Petroleum Company (Gempetco), with more than 25 years of experience in Oil & Gas upstream operations, covering offshore, onshore, FPSO and MOPU facilities. He has extensive practical expertise in production and process operations, marine systems, asset integrity, HSEQ, reliability, and operational risk management. He currently leads operations of the Al-Zaafarana FPSO, an aging offshore asset, with a focus on safe, reliable and sustainable production, structural and mechanical integrity, life extension, and compliance with international standards and IFC and insurance requirements.
