Subodhkumar Borse is a Naval Architect by qualification with over 18 years of new building and conversion project related experience. Currently working with Synergy Group as Director – New Building, Conversion & Offshore Projects. Has completed the Design & full project management of conversion of LNG Carrier to FSU/FSRU. Has overseen complete project management & the supervision of more than a dozen projects at any given time in shipyards across Japan, Korea and China. He was in-charge of newbuilding and Conversion of FSU, FSRU, LNGC, VLECs & LPG Carriers. Subodh worked with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) as Project Coordinator and Plan Approval Engineer & has approved designs of LNGC (SHI and HHI design) & LPG (HHI) Carrier, FSRUs (Korea & Brazil) including various types of Ships.He hold Bachlor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Specialisation in Steel Structure) and Master Degree in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture.
