Eduardo Chamusca is a seasoned Oil & Gas professional with good technical baggage and extensive international experience, having lived in Brazil, Singapore, Australia and Angola. Having worked in refineries, construction yards, heavy machinery factories and offshore operations for the last 15 years, Eduardo has been exposed to both technical and managerial challenges throughout his career. 

Eduardo Chamusca joined SBM Offshore in May 2013  as the  Business Development Director in Brazil, then moving on to a General Management position in Angola, being responsible for the production of 15% of the country's oil. Back in Brazil in 2018 - the country's main market world-wide, Eduardo was promoted to the Brazil Country Director position, where the company produces 25% of the country's oil, with the support of its 1,700+ staff. 

As of August 2020, Eduardo has taken the new challenge of running the global operations of SBM's Business Development division through the role of Group Business Development Director, whose main focus is fostering new business opportunities for the company and strengthening the relationship with clients and partners. 

Eduardo is a Brazilian Citizen, married with two children, holds a bachelor in Electronic Engineering by Griffith Federal University in Australia, has an MBA in Business Management with IBMEC and a Masters in Business Economics in Energy with PUC-Rio.
