Eric Powell
Project Manager MODECEric Powell is currently a Project Manager at MODEC,
having most recently completed the FPSO Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes MV29,
which has been in operation since June 2019 at Tartaruga Verde e Mestiça Field.
Eric has been continuously involved with mechanical completion, commissioning,
start-up and handover of Brazil FPSOs since 2008 starting as Deputy Project
Manager Topsides EPC for Cidade de Angra dos Reis MV22 (pre-salt Pilot 1), then
moving to completions manager for Cidade de São Paulo MV23 before becoming
Project Manager for FPSO Cidade de Mangaratiba MV24.
Eric Powell Graduated in 1985 from University of
Michigan as Naval Architect with MS in Agriculture Engineering (Aquaculture)
from University of Maryland, MBA from Texas A&M and 1 course left in
graduate certificate in Wind Energy from Texas Tech.
He started his career in work boats and fish farms and
he has been working with oil & gas industry since 2002.
