Erwin Nederkoorn, (1970) is a Managing Director at ING Wholesale Banking, based in Amsterdam. Mr. Nederkoorn is responsible for clients in the offshore oil/gas and renewables services sector. He is on the investment committee for Energy global and driving force to support new Energy technologies. He heads up a global team of professionals based in Amsterdam, New York and Singapore. He has been leading many syndicated corporate and project finance transactions for customers located in Europe, Asia and the Americas. He joined ING in 2001 in the structured export finance department. He was involved in numerous (multi-sourced) transactions supported by Export Credit Agencies for both public and private borrowers active across various sectors with focus on Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa. He started his career in 1994 as engineer in the maintenance organisation of NAM (JV between Shell/Exxon), followed by an assignment at Stork NV as business manager for the management board focussed on engineering-contracting division in emerging markets and the aviation (former Fokker aircraft) division. Mr. Nederkoorn has a Master degree on Chemical Engineering from Delft Technical University, the Netherlands. He is married and has three children.
