Johan is a senior member of the Energy & Resources team at SMBC. He has more than 15 years of experience in banking working across Project & Acquisition Finance, Commodity Finance, and Private Equity. Over the years, he has led several notable advisory and arranging transactions in the Asia-Pacific region and helped clients raise over USD10bn in capital across the energy value chain. Johan is passionate about economic development and empowerment, looking for ways to mobilize private capital for social impact. Johan is a CFA Charterholder and holds an (honours) Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
