Mike McAreavey

Chief Technical Officer BW Offshore

Mike McAreavey was appointed Chief Technical Officer of BW Offshore in 2024, succeeding his previous role as Head of Operational Integrity which he held from 2017. He joined the company in 2014 as Engineering Manager. Prior to joining BW Offshore, Mike held various engineering and technical management positions within EPC and Operating companies, including Woodside Energy and SBM Offshore. Mike holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Process and Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
