Mr. Otaro Stephen is an oil and gas professional with over 20 years experience in the industry. Otaro holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is currently the DCOO OML 26 Asset Management Team (AMT) operating the OML 26 field in the Niger Delta on behalf of the JV partners NNPC Limited and FHN Ltd. He was part of the then NAPIMS (Now NUIMS) team incharge of Addax and Total PSC portfolio operating FPSO Knoc Adoon, Sendje Berge, Akpo and Egina. Mr. Otaro was the facilities lead for FPSO Mystras in OML 119 before his new role. Earlier in his career, he was part of the pioneer team that conceptualized and actualized NipeX, a supplier sourcing tool in the upstream sector of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry aimed improving Nigerian Content in the industry.
