André Manhães is Cetco Energy Services Brazil General Manager. He graduated from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro from Brazil with a BS in Naval Engineering. He started his career as a plan approver and surveyor at Bureau Veritas Brazil mainly focusing on offshore production units design approval and inspection. He moved to the Oilfield as a Schlumberger Wireline Engineer in 2000 where he worked mainly on exploration wells in Africa and Brazil. He the position of Business Development Manager for Baker Hughes in Brazil before he moved to be a consultant in Logistics and Procurement for 6 years working directly with major International Oil Companies, such as Devon, BP, Vanco and Perenco. In 2013, he joined CETCO as the Sales Manager focusing his attention on the IOCs operation in Brazil. In 2016 he was promoted to be CETCO Brazil General Manager where he has worked to turn CETCO in to the preferred Produced Water treatment services company in Brazil. He is an enthusiast of the technical challenges of the industry with special focus on PW challenges and environmental compliance. He loves sport and, as a Brazilian, is a huge fan of football. He is a fan of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo.
