Kunal Kumar is the global digital business development manager for Schlumberger, based in Houston, Texas, USA. He started his career in Asia and spent considerable time working onshore and offshore FPSO projects in India, Singapore, Indonesia, and Australia before moving to the US in 2016. Over the past 14 years Kunal has been exposed to different functions in the oil and gas value chain and has found his niche working in low carbon-low emission technologies and digital transformation of the energy industry. He has had the opportunity to work with oil and gas majors as well as startups in the renewable energy space. Kunal believes that digitalization in the energy industry is the next frontier in innovation. In his current role he is responsible for the adoption of Schlumberger's digital technology focusing on midstream. He has completed his mechanical engineering from BITS Pilani and his MBA from the number one school for entrepreneurship - Babson college in Boston, MA, USA.
