Tomas Solli is a naval architect from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. He started to work for DNV in 1998 and has mainly been working within offshore classification, both as approval engineer, fabrication surveyor and survey in operation. He has been working in USA, Canada and Korea in addition to Norway. In Korea he was working with multiple offshore units under construction. These units entailed both drilling units and FPSOs and were typically fabricated at Hyundai, Samsung and Daewoo. Currently he is working with business development within the FPSO segment.
