Belgium-based EXMAR is to develop and operate the floating liquefaction (FLNG) facility as part of the Douglas Channel LNG project in British Columbia, Canada. The company, which is the owner and operator of what is to be the world’s first FLNG facility (Caribbean FLNG), says it will use its experience to "provide a fast track and cost competitive floating liquefaction barge to the project".
